Date Night Rules With Your Fiance

Going on a date can be nerve wracking but exciting, especially if it’s your first one. There are so many unknown nuances that you will have to discover. Is your date going to like you or not, or are you going to like them back, are they funny or incorrigible; do they possess good manners, or do they prefer expressions of physiological functions? The key to have a perfect date is just to be yourself. If the person likes you for who you are, then you’re on the right track. Nevertheless, there are things that you should try to avoid doing on your first date , because first impressions make a lot of difference.

To help you out, here are certain things not to do on your first date.

Do not be late

Time is any day more valuable than money. Treat someone else’s time with due respect. Being late to your first date or during any other situation for that matter is a blatant disrespect. If you are running late, give prior information by calling them preferably before you’re supposed to be there.

Do not order messy food

It’s your first date and you will probably be most nervous. You are more likely to be clumsy and make mistakes. Avoid the opportunity of making a clumsy mistake by ordering food that’s not messy.

Do not smoke

When you plan to end your date with a kiss, do not smoke. People normally do not enjoy kissing an ash tray. If you do not want to make your mouth smell or taste like an ash tray, refrain from lighting up.

Do not forget to shave

Your legs need to be shaved, if you decide to wear any kind of skirt or shorts. And for the men, some ladies like a stubbled face, while some don’t. Get to know whether or not that the lady you want to date likes a stubbled face, otherwise don’t take the risk and shave.

Do not start talking about getting wedded

Never talk about things such as getting married, meeting parents or having babies. Take dating taken one step at a time. Talking about sensitive and serious things will only make your date feel uncomfortable.

Never talk about your past relationships

Do not give your date the feeling that you haven’t moved on by talking about your exes or past relationships. Also, talking about your exes will give your date an idea as to how you will be treating them in the future.

Do not discuss your problems

Cribbing about things while on a date can be very annoying for the person who is with you. Dating is supposed to be fun, and is supposed to be an event for two people to get to know each other.

Do not be desperate to give compliments

Complimenting your date is a great thing to do, but overdoing it will make you seem like a liar. Be as honest as you can when you are on a date, but never tactless.

Do not flirt with other people

Make it a point to give your date all the attention. This is one of the primary things to be remembered. Don’t insult your date by not paying attention or telling your date someone else deserves your attention with the gestures you make.

Do not be shy

Get all the shyness at bay when you go on a date. Remember, if your date has agreed to go out with you it is because they show interest on their part. Be confident and enjoy yourself.
