Baggy eyes and dark circles are a cause of humiliations when you go out for a party or even before your big day. Though you wear your favorite outfit and put the gorgeous makeup still you can’t hide those dark circles under your eyes.

Growing dark circles under your eyes does not always indicate fatigue or tiredness sometimes it is the sign of some underlying diseases that needs to be diagnosed as quickly as possible. Sometimes the causes may also be sobbing for long hours, unhealthy diet, ageing, dry and poor skin problems, heredity and lack of sleep.

But whatsoever be the reason dark circles are always a cause of concern and embarrassment as it looks very awkward and unattractive.

Here are some of the home remedies to get rid of dark circles around the eyes.

REMEDY WITH YOGA

As stated dark circles are often caused due to stress and anxieties. If this is the cause, then none of the home medications or cosmetic products can reduce those stubborn dark patches around your eyes if your mind is not calm. Meditation helps in relieving all the stresses by balancing your body and mind properly and enabling them to work in sync.

CUCUMBER COOLING

Cucumber is one of the most efficient and easiest of the home remedies for removing those dark circles around the eyes. Cut a slice of the cucumber and refrigerate it to cool for some time. Put that cold slice of the cucumber on your eyes and leave it overnight. This will not only give you a good sleep but also relieve you of those racoon eyes.

REMEDY WITH ALMOND OIL

Almond oil is very successful in lightening the skin under your eyes and other areas. Soak a cotton ball in about 2 spoonful of the almond oil and then massage the skin under your eyes and leave it like that overnight. Wash it off the next morning. Repeat it twice and see the results in a week.

REMEDY WITH ROSE WATER

Rose water acts as an amazing skin rejuvenating product as it soothes the tired eyes giving you a fresh look. It acts as an incredible toner because of the astringent properties it possesses. Soak a cotton ball in rose water and apply on the eyes and leave it for some time. You will instantaneously look fresh and striking and use it for a few days will relieve you of the baggy eyes that are so worrisome.

POTATO

The mild bleaching properties of potatoes make it a natural cleanser. Grate 2-3 slices of the potato and extract the juice from that. Soak a cotton ball in potato juice and massage the area under the eyes and leave it overnight. It will give you freedom from the puffiness of the eyes thus giving your eyes a sharp look.

TASTY REMEDY WITH TOMATOES

Tomatoes also have bleaching properties that make them a great cleanser. Extract the juice and apply it under the eyes using a cotton ball. Leave it like that overnight and rinse in the morning with cold water and a mild soap if required.

SOUR REMEDY WITH LIME

Lime juice can relieve you of the dark circles around the eyes. Smearing it with a cotton ball on the dark areas will lighten the area quickly. Or otherwise, you can make a face pack with a little lime juice, tomato juice, turmeric and sandalwood powder and then apply it carefully under your eyes.

COLD MILK

It may sound crazy to you, but yes cold milk can remove those dark patches under your eyes amazingly. Soak a cotton ball in cold milk and apply it gently on the entire eye and leave it for sometimes. Rinse it off with water. Repeat this for a week and you can see the difference in a week.

COLD TEA BAGS

Do not fling away the tea bags after having tea. Store it in the refrigerator and allow it to cool. Then put the tea bags on the closed eyes and leave it like that for some time. Use this frequently and see the difference. You will get better results if you can use green tea bags or Chamomile.

TURMERIC

Take 2-3 spoonful of the powder and then add lemon juice to make a thick paste. Apply the paste as a thick mask around the eyes. Leave it for some time before rinsing. You will find the difference in a few days time.
